Your school needs you!

If you attended Penicuik High School or have been involved with the school in any capacity as teachers, learning assistants, janitorial staff, technicians, cleaners, dinner ladies and have memories and artefacts you would like to share we would love to hear from you. We would especially appreciate photos, videos, uniforms, yearbooks, jotters, reports, sports memorabilia etc.

Penicuik High School will be opening its doors in celebration on the 14th of March 2013. This will be a unique opportunity for members of the community, old and new, to come together and share experiences and recollections of their time at Penicuik.

We are putting together an exhibition on just how Penicuik High School has developed and changed through the decades from opening in 1937 to the present day.

You can hand all items into the school office Monday to Thursday 8am – 4.30 pm and Friday 8.00-3.00pm. In order to ensure their safe return can you please label your items clearly with contact details.

CyclingThis site covers all aspects of childrens’ health both mentally and physically. Explore parts of the human body and investigate how they work. Follow advice on dealing with feelings, staying healthy, common illnesses and injuries. This is an excellent site which could be used for numerous  topics. It is easy to follow, the language is well pitched and it includes games and activities to keep the children interested. This site also deals with more sensitive issues and would be a good resource to use in the teaching of PSD topics.
