For every computer game, phone app or website someone has programmed it. You can learn to write programs without being a computing genius. At Hawthornden Primary School children are programming by setting up a Code Club.
On Monday 29th October the Code Club starts at Hawthornden Primary School. They are one of the first in Scotland and will join hundreds of other schools across the UK in having their own code Club. It will be running after school once a week enabling children to enjoy writing computer programs.
Code Club is a UK wide initiative to get children programming computers. The Code Club initiative has been featured in the national press following its launch earlier in the year.
