Wednesday February 10 @1.45pm.
He is one of Scotland’s most famous characters, but who really was Bonnie Prince Charlie? Why did he come to Scotland in 1745, and how close did he come to seizing the throne? Was he actually a Prince, or just a Pretender? And did he really dress as a maid when he went “over the sea to Skye”?
This is your chance to find out, with this rare opportunity to ask the Prince yourself! Join Glow TV live from the National Museum of Scotland on Wednesday 10th February at 1.45pm to see the Prince as portrayed by Historian Arran Johnston and to discover more about the iconic Jacobite objects we have on display in the museum.

Children’s author, Sam Wilding is taking part in an exciting trip to East Bali this month to work with the East Bali Poverty Project and to visit six newly constructed schools. He is blogging about his experiences on Glow Blogs – and he’d like you to join his adventure!
Sam is working with the children to enthuse them about reading and writing, as education is now a main priority in East Bali. He is planning to create a storyboard for a picture book for the children around sanitation and nutrition which is a vital part of their life long learning.
Sam also hopes to raise awareness here in Scotland about the great work of the East Bali Poverty Project and facilitate a sharing of culture between the children here in Scotland and in Bali.
You can get a daily update from Sam from his Glow blog posts and his videos and also take part in his daily challenge question on the –Follow Sam Wilding in Bali blog
