The two Primary 3 classes at Burnbrae Primary School had a fun morning using the iPads and ‘I can Animate’ to create animations. There was a mixture of animated Lego bricks and drawings created on a whiteboard. The video can be viewed by clicking here. .

P1b have been using iPads to create animations The children in the class used the ‘I Can Animate’ app on the iPads which were fitted to clamps on the tables. Every member of the class worked really well to make this a very enjoyable session for all! Click here to view the film.

Pupils from Primaries 4 and 5 have been creating radio programmes for Midlothian Schools Radio. There is a wide variety of entertaining content to listen to. Primaries 1-3 at Danderhall Primary have been creating animations using the ‘I Can Animate’ app on iPads. They borrowed the animation kit from the Learning Technology Team. fromconcrete2cookers is an exciting and timely game which encourages children to explore their school environment and spot ways of reducing the school’s carbon emissions. The players will make decisions based on knowledge gained in the course of the game and their available budget, which increases as they answer questions correctly. The game is aimed at CfE levels 2 and 3, helps address experiences and outcomes in Science, Technologies and Social Studies, and was developed in conjunction with Heriot Watt University and Edinburgh schools.
