The Digital Learning team facilitate courses to support teachers in using digital technology to enrich their lessons and to support their continuous, life-long professional learning.

All courses are hosted within Newbattle Community High School Room 233. Monday to Thursday courses run from 4.15pm until 5.30pm and Fridays from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. Registration for all events is hosted by Eventbrite. Please register to confirm your attendance by clicking on the link above.

Please remember the following:

Be secure

  • Keep your password to yourself and don’t share it with anyone
  • Don’t leave your computer without logging out

Be polite

  • Remember that anything you can do can be traced back you

Be safe

  • Don’t share your personal details with other people

Be legal

  • Only put materials on to Glow that you are allowed to

Be responsible

  • If you see something that is wrong on Glow then please tell an adult
  • Tell an adult about any security problems
  • Ask for help if you do not understand what this means

If you misuse Glow then your access may be removed.

Hunter Adair’s Guide to the Countryside

Hunter Adair’s Guide to the Countryside

Hunter Adair, a countryman living and farming in Hexham, Northumberland, has written a series of 8 books about the countryside. He has agreed to allow the books to be published on The Country Trust’s website so that schools up and down the country can access and download the books to teach children about the countryside.
